Follow me as I trade purely mechanical using a 'Plan before Product' trading style that Tom Sosnoff himself said that had he used this over his last 30 years of trading, he'd probably have 3X more money.

Shoutbox

jvp3122: Thanks Greg. I'm just at the end of March in the first season with Case. I guess that's a good place to stop and watch a couple of months with Katie and Bat to see what I think of the difference. May 19, 2015 15:19:06 GMT -8
hamster: JVP...I prefer BAT w/Katie. On a side note, I suggest sticking with Tom and Bat or Liz and Jny. Tom and Bat seem more aggressive in their trading styles and have more experience. Although, not saying one is better than the other... May 21, 2015 1:06:08 GMT -8
hamster: Greg which series did you learn the best from? May 21, 2015 1:06:27 GMT -8
greg: I've learned from all the various series and find that if I need help with something and don't find the help in one series, I can get help in another one on the same topic. I've tended to go mostly with Bat/Katie and Liz/JNY. I find Tom/Case less helpful. May 21, 2015 5:23:44 GMT -8
jvp3122: Thanks hamster. I'm still in the process right now of learning the mechanics. I have a bit of experience in pricing options(actuarial exam study)so I'm not quite so fresh-faced but I'm still beginning. Once I get to strategies then I'll look @ Liz/JNY, etc May 21, 2015 6:18:00 GMT -8
hamster: Greg I am the same...I rarely watch Tom/Case. May 21, 2015 23:31:57 GMT -8
nomadalien: I follow Liz/Jny daily as well as their WDIS with Nick. Their shows are incredibly informative and "simple" to understand. If only they can talk a bit slower.....luckily I have "pause/rewind" on my side :-) May 23, 2015 2:06:29 GMT -8
wim: Hi all , Have you ever tried the following strategie, selling 2 opposite triple leveraged products ,I'm doing this since januari with JNUG - JDST and it is working really great.Try IT May 23, 2015 5:45:05 GMT -8
greg: Nomadalien, Liz/JNY are definitely fast-talking and tricky to listen to at times but all-in-all I find them helpful. I find it funny when they repeat each other's words and finish each other's sentences. May 23, 2015 20:48:45 GMT -8
hamster: Wim, can you start a thread in the forum and discuss your strategy in detail? May 24, 2015 22:33:02 GMT -8
frenchy: Sell RUT 1255/1260 June1 15 call vertical spread for $2.00 or more, risk 3 to make 2 for 10 days. VIX is low and market is near all time high, reversion / pull back probably imminent... :) May 25, 2015 11:52:45 GMT -8
coho51: Hey guys, do i get taxed if i pull out money from a mutual fund and put it in my TD account? May 25, 2015 20:29:18 GMT -8

hamster: Thanks for the post Hak! Love listening to Tom and Tony this morning going on and on about the BlackHawks Vs Ducks series. Tom says NHL hockey is the best sports to watch by a long-shot!!! Game 7 Saturday May 28, 2015 4:12:20 GMT -8
wim: I created a new thread with my trade idea May 28, 2015 6:20:22 GMT -8
hamster: Thanks Wim! May 28, 2015 13:30:15 GMT -8
hamster: Hak, very good MM! To me, the study is basically saying Strangles provide nearly 10x the return to IC!!! Hak, does this study make you want to shift to trading naked in SPY? May 28, 2015 13:35:34 GMT -8
hakkoryukami: Ham, I might trade some strangles, but staying very small. It takes too much capital / margin. Doing SPX with IC and SPY with strangles. May 28, 2015 23:49:43 GMT -8
jvp3122: Hey all. I'm looking through the threads on the different strategies/concepts (naked options, rolling, strangles, ICs, etc) and I'm wondering if anyone would be able to put something together or start a thread on calendars. May 29, 2015 5:55:29 GMT -8
